Jerod was born and raised in Columbus, Nebraska where he graduated from Scotus Central Catholic in 1999. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2003 and subsequently obtained his law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2006. Jerod began his practice in Auburn, Nebraska where he maintained a full service practice to clients in a six county region. Upon marrying his wife Sarah, he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and practiced with a larger firm where he represented a wide range of clients in a variety of law disciplines. In 2011, he and Sarah decided to return to his hometown where they felt they could contribute to the community in more meaningful ways. Jerod has been practicing law in the Columbus area ever since.
